We hold no stock, employ no technicians and attend no jobs. Everything you agree is agreed with them, not with us.
Because the useful thing we can give you is a diagnosis before anyone quotes. Almost every garage door fault is one of five parts, and knowing which one turns a vague quote into a checkable one.
The other reason is geography. This region runs three quite different climates inside forty kilometres — beachfront salt, humid coastal plain, and the Blackall Range four hundred metres up and roughly twice as wet. A door fails differently in each, and most sites covering the coast write as though it were all beach.
No reviews, no testimonials, no before-and-after photos. We have not done the work, so any of those would be invented. Ask the technician for references directly — a good one will have them.
No fixed prices either. A door cannot be priced without being seen, and a number given over the phone is either padded or about to change. The ranges published here are indicative so you can recognise a fair quote.
Repairing a garage door is not building work in Queensland and needs no QBCC licence. Altering the opening is, and does.
That means this trade has a low barrier to entry, which keeps prices competitive and makes the quality range wide. It is the main reason this site exists.
